Chocolate chip peanut butter brownies

These are super easy, super tasty. As with most (all) chocolate things, it is amazing with coffee! So, great for your morning snack. If you’re a long-time reader, you know how much I love a morning snack with my coffee! My baked goods usually make great morning snacks! ūüėČ So, if you’re looking for a great morning snack, these took less than an hour to throw together and bake! I found this recipe on the back of my Nestl√© Toll House chocolate chip bag¬†and I couldn’t help it, I had to add the peanut butter chips; peanut butter and chocolate are as much a pair as peanut butter and jelly. And so, chocolate chip peanut butter brownies were born. Now, can you image peanut butter swirls? Mmmm. I’ll have to try that next time. So, have fun with this and enjoy. Chocolate chip peanut butter brownies

See those peanut butter chips? AMAZING.

What you need:
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, cut into pieces
3 large eggs
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1 cup peanut butter chips

What to do:

  1. Preheat¬†oven to 350¬į F. Grease 13 x 9-inch baking pan.
  2. Melt 1 cup chocolate chips and butter in large, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth. Remove from heat. Stir in eggs. Stir in flour, sugar, vanilla extract and baking soda. Stir in remaining chocolate chips and peanut butter chips. Spread into prepared baking pan.
  3. Bake for 18 to 22 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
